DIY foam allows sections of the interior to be removed or shaped around the equipment you want to protect.
Leave enough foam between individual items and between the equipment and the outer wall to maintain useful separation and support.
A customizable foam interior can be planned around many different equipment types as long as the case dimensions are suitable.
Measure the complete equipment set, including accessories, then allow additional room for foam around each item.
DIY foam gives you more control over the layout. Pre-cut interiors are easier when your equipment already matches the intended configuration.
